Red Sea Cruise Tour 2020/2021:
The Regina is a Panama registered vessel classified as 4 star. It is 300 feet in length, almost 50 feet wide and some 3100 gross tonnage. Built in Germany in 1929 for millionaire Julius Fleischman, it was the largest private yacht in the world. Named the “Orion” it was sold in 1965 to a Greek cruise company who changed the name to “Argonaut”. In 1985 they completely refurbished the vessel. In 1995 it was purchased by an Egyptian firm and in 1996 completely overhauled and the name became “Regina Maris”, (which mean the Queen of the Sea). The ship only carries a maximum of 190 passengers with a crew of 80.
There are 70 outside cabins, fully air-conditioned with private showers, telephones, music system. The ship has a panorama restaurant that seats up to 150, a swimming pool on it’s garden deck, shopping bazaar including drugstore, souvenirs, beauty salon and barber shop. Entertainment includes a live band and disco plus both oriental and Nubian folkloric shows.

Day 1:
Arrive Cairo and be met by our staff who will assist with clearing immigration and customs and transfer you to a fine hotel for the evening.
Day 2:
Transfer to Suez to meet the ship. After boarding enjoy a tour to St. Anthony’s monastery. Lunch and Dinner. The ship departs Suez late in the evening sailing down the Gulf of Suez to round the southern tip of the Sinai and then heads north into the Gulf of Aqaba.
Day 3:
You continue to sail north in the Gulf enjoying the sights along the way. Arrive Eilat in the evening.
Day 4:
Tour to the Dead Sea (with a short swim), then on to Jerusalem where you will visit the Old City sites. Return to the ship to overnight OR simply stay on board and enjoy the day at the beach. (Break fast ,Lunch, Dinner, Meals are included in both options).
Day 5:
A short sail to Aqaba where you will enjoy a tour to Petra and Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum is where Lawrence of Arabia operated in WW 1 and is a beautiful, historic site. The ship sails in the evening back south toward Sharm el Sheikh at the foot of the Sinai peninsula.
Day 6:
Today you can visit St. Catherines monastery and Mount Sinai or enjoy a day in the water at Ras Mohammed National park snorkeling or diving (if you are certified). Ship sails in the evening for Safaga.
Day 7:
Arrive Safaga. A day tour to Luxor where you will enjoy seeing both East and West bank antiquity sites before returning to the ship.
Day 8:
Buffet breakfast while the ship sails to Suez. Full day at sea enjoying seeing two continents (Africa and Asia) at one time.
Day 9:
Arrive Suez, disembark and our staff will transfer you to Cairo to overnight.
Day 10:
Our staff will take you to the airport, assist with departure formalities and checking in for your international departure OR extend your stay to enjoy more of Egypt.

Egypt has been wonderful I don’t think I’ve ever learned more in a week then I have here. It was amazing! I am certainly coming back! Also the people were very nice.
